Recipe: Quick Chicken Stir-Fry with Bell Peppers

Total Time: 8 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.
  2. Add the sliced chicken to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry for about 3 minutes or until it's almost cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  3. Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the pan. Sauté the garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the bell peppers and onion, and stir-fry for about 2 minutes or until they start to soften.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan, add the soy sauce and oyster sauce, and stir everything together for another 2 minutes.
