Recipe: Honey Soy Glazed Salmon with Steamed Broccoli

Ingredients:

  • 1 salmon fillet (about 6 oz)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger to make the glaze.
  2. Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Place the salmon in the pan, skin-side down, and cook for 3 minutes.
  4. While the salmon is cooking, steam the broccoli. You can use a microwave steamer for about 2 minutes or steam in a pot with a little water.
  5. Flip the salmon and brush the top with the honey soy glaze. Cook for an additional 2 minutes or until the salmon is cooked to your liking.
  6. Serve the salmon with steamed broccoli on the side.
